A comfortable alternative to thermal or air conditioning units? Choose any surface material and get rid of the interior of unsightly heating bodies and cooling units.

Comfortable, quiet, economical, gentle... Words you probably hear a lot from clients. Increasing demands on environmental well-being, i.e. thermal comfort of people, are an increasingly common topic in society. Whether it is the design of a family house or office space, thermal comfort is obvious and hygienic aspects are the one that will surely interest your clients. Side effects? Noise and frequent diseases caused by drafts and swirls of dust? Both can influence the choice of heating-cooling system, which allows the adjustment of thermal comfort at low energy consumption. Of course, the emphasis is also on the appearance and unpretentiousness of maintenance. How to achieve such requirements?

Radiant ceiling systems

The most common radiant cooling systems are cooling ceilings, which are given the most attention. And not in vain. The advantage of the system is its invisibility in the interior, high performance and comfortable functionality without any noise. Our systems replace any other unsightly heating or cooling units and rank among the very gentle, quiet and free-flowing cooling. For example, Carbon S boards with built-in copper heating-cooling equipment form a ceiling area and can be used to create sleepless floor-to-ceiling or island areas.

Advantages of the Carbon S radiant system

How is the system economically advantageous? From the point of view of thermal comfort, the system is economical mainly due to the fact that it works with the temperature that is most close to the temperature in the room and the power is thus distributed in the ceiling area and transmitted by radiation. Radiation is a physical process in which a substance emits energy into space in the form of electromagnetic radiation. It is precisely in conjunction with maintaining a lower air temperature that the systems are undeniably gentle. The reason for this is the low-potential effect, which is that it is not necessary to heat the water, which is usually driven into conventional radiators, to 60°C, but half the water temperature is enough to heat the room. The systems are especially suitable in combination with geothermia, where additional funds for operation can be saved.

As a rule, the disadvantage of the system is higher acquisition costs. On the other hand, the cost of replacing filters for conventional systems, for example, is falling away, and the unit is very comfortable precisely because it has one element that heats and cools. At the same time, the system is up to 60% lighter, achieves 35-50% higher performance, and the system response is 10 times faster (1-2 minutes). It is not possible to say unequivocally what the return is, since, as you know, each project has its own specifics according to which these figures are estimated.
